Taking Creative Direction - YSL announces their new creative director; Dior is still on the hunt

Hedi Slimane

 Maxime Simoen

Talks of who will take the place of Stefano Pilati (for YSL), and John Galliano (for Dior) have been
ongoing but have only been half satiated. It was announced on Wednesday, during Paris Fashion Week
that Hedi Slimane will be Pilati's successor. As for the gap that Galliano left, sources have rumored
Maxime Simoens to be the new Creative Director for Dior. If it were up to me, I'd nominate Simoens for
YSL Creative Director based on his resemblance to Yves Saint Laurent, and their shared affinity for over
    sized reading glasses.

Lana Del Rey

Lana Del Rey is so 60's inspired. It's no wonder why Dior flew her to Beiijing this week to perform
for their Spring Summer 2012 show. Check her out, wearing my American Apparel
  3D Flower Mesh Jumper

Fresh Faced

When I am not prowling through fashion magazines, my second favorite hobby is learning about skincare. After hearing about MyChelle (sold at WholeFoods) from my good friend Ali, I couldn't wait to try it. I've been using the Fruit Enzyme Scrub, Vitamin A Serum and the Supreme Polypeptide Cream for about three weeks now and I have noticed a big difference. I am a believer in affordable and organic face products - for the reason that they are free of phthalates and parabens. I've used other organic brands in the past but I was unable to see a significant improvement in my skin after using most of them.  MyChelle has been the only line of face products that has been able to improve my dry winter skin. The Enzyme Scrub is gentle enough to use daily and I even use the Peptide Cream on my lips to make them extra soft. LOVE!
